How to replace the sensor

Before any repair or maintenance operation, deactivate the appliance and disconnect the mains plug from the socket.

Always take care when moving appliances. For heavy appliances it's safest for two persons to move it. Always use safety gloves and safety footwear. Wear safety gloves at all times to protect from cuts from sharp edges.

HOW TO REPLACE SENSOR, PT500
Before replacing any part of the appliance remove the door when the appliance is still mounted in the furniture. Door removal is described in the User Manual.
Screw placement and their number may differ depending on appliance.
1. Unscrew the terminal block cover on the back panel of the appliance.


2. Unscrew each of the live, neutral and earth wires from their corresponding terminals with a flat bladed screwdriver and unscrew the bolts for the cable holder to release and remove the cable.


3. Unscrew the screws on each side of the top cover and remove the top cover.

4. Unscrew the screws and remove the back cover (slide up the back cover when all screws are removed).


5. Carefully disconnect the wiring connector from the temperature sensor. (Note: Take a photo of the wiring positioning/location before disconnecting) Be careful not to damage the connector.


6. Unscrew the screws holding the temperature sensor in position.

7. Pull the temperature sensor towards you to remove.


8. When assembling, repeat steps in reverse order.
